Welcome to the Norwich Dragon Festival 2014! We hope you enjoy the huge variety of events on offer throughout the festival. New events will be added to these event listings so do check back for all events.

Simply browse through the events, download the Norwich Dragon Festival 2014 brochure, or use the filters at the left to choose events for you. You can also create your own dragon itinerary by clicking 'Add to Itinerary' beneath your chosen event. You can then print or email all your selected dragon events using the 'Itinerary' bar at the right.

Please note that some events require pre-booking - these are marked with a B in a red box and booking contacts and procedures differ from event to event, depending on the venue and event organiser.

Adults' Dragon Activity Afternoons

Come to our Dragon-themed activity afternoons for adults. Board games (Tuesdays, 2.15-4.15pm), Drop-in and raw (Wednesdays, 2.30-4.30pm) and Knit and Knatter (Thursdays, 2-4pm).

Chinese Dragon Dance

The hugely popular Hung Sing group are back with their Chinese dragon dance. The dancers will be performing traditional Chinese dragon dances at Timberhill. Come along to hear drums, cymbals and gongs to accompany the energetic nine-person dance.

City of Dragons

Join artist Matt Reeve and poet and historian John Simpson Wedge for a reading of their new book and find out what could be hiding just around the corner. Held in the Bird Gallery. Duration approx. 25 minutes.

Create Your Own Pop-Up Dragon FULLY BOOKED

Dotty the Dragon by Blunderbus Theatre Company

Come and hear the story of Dotty the baby fire dragon, who pays a visit to the children in the nearby village. Little people aged 3 - 7 will love this funny, heart-warming tale. But, big people will have lots of fun, too.

Dragon Arts and Crafts

Make your own dragon at the Dragon Arts and Crafts workshop. It's FREE and the kids love it. Or grab a felt pen, stand on tip toe and help colour in the dragon designs on the walls of our giant colouring-in cube.

Dragon Brood

A creative workshop for anyone aged 10 years and over to create a dragon puppet or mask. You can attend for just one or both days of the workshop (1 hour lunch break included).
