Donate

Donations and legacies are a way to help ensure HEART's future and help us care for and champion Norwich's heritage.

Norwich HEART is a charity and your donations are a way to help. The HEART team and volunteers spend a huge amount of time working on programmes such as Heritage Open Days, and more often than not, provide them free of charge.

A small donation will help make a huge difference to the future of HEART and the delivery of heritage events and regeneration projects.

It is very simple to donate £2, £5 or £10 to HEART via text message, and your support will be greatly appreciated.

Simply text HRTG24, followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070. For example, if you wish to donate £5, text:

HRTG24 £5

to 70070.

Alternatively, if you have a smartphone with a barcode scanner (available free on all mobile application stores, eg. Apple App Store, Android Market etc.), simply scan the QR code to the left of this paragraph and press send to donate £5 to HEART.

Volunteer

HEART relies on a team of dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who give up their time to support the organisation at various points over the year.

There are two main ways you can volunteer for HEART:

1. Event work for Heritage Open Days - processing booking forms during August each year and stewarding at the events themselves. Even if you can only spare a few hours, we would love to hear from you. For more information please contact Sophie Cabot on 01603 305573 or email sophiecabot@heritagecity.org. 
2. Research and share knowledge - we are currently compiling a database which will become an online portal full of information on Norwich's heritage, accessible free online once launched. We would love to hear from people who have knowledge on a particular person, building, organisation or industry in Norwich and could write an entry on it for the database.
